Brides Taking A Break From The Planning During The Holidays?

temp-post-image Just before the fall Holiday season starts I see many brides who are getting married in the following year take what seems to be a short break from wedding planning. Getting the house decorated for the holiday and searching for amazing new recipes to try out on family and friends seems to overpower many of us. I imagine this year will be much worse for many of us now that Pinterest has taken over the majority of our work day! The temporary break for many brides is a definite necessity. We all know wedding planning can get overwhelming and a little rest is well deserved. I thought this would be a good time for me to help you avoid what will certainly be a major league panic attach right around the corner. Let’s take a little preview of what is to come in the next few weeks; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other spiritual celebrations, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day…”What? New Year’s day!” That means this year is _________ OMG! I am getting married this year!!!!This is sure to be your reaction if you are getting married next year. We have more appointments January 3rd through the end of January than any other time of the year. On average we have had over 60 appointments per week the last few trackable years. In the summer and the fall we have many brides that say they want to book us, but want to put it off for a little while. Weather they are saving up or just don’t want to put all the money down right away because they feel better holding on to it, or some other reason, I am not sure. Then they call in Mid-January and their date is booked. Don’t let this happen to you. Buckle down in the next couple of weeks before the holidays over take you and book those vendors and services you don’t want to lose out on. Don’t let someone else beat you to your first choice. Happy Planning and Happy Holidays!
